Out on the town with De Kruumte
10.00 a.m.
Well begun is half done... You start off with morning coffee and a delicious apple pastry at De Kruumte.
11.00 a.m.
After coffee, you'll find the round-trip boat waiting for you to take you past the most beautiful spots in Giethoorn. On the way, you'll visit the museum the 'Oude Aarde' (Old Earth), where it's easy to imagine you are right at the centre of the earth. When you are ready you can walk back to De Kruumte at a leisurely pace.
1.00 p.m.
You will receive a route map accompanied by a treasure hunt before you set off in 2 or 3-person Canadian canoes to travel round magnificent Giethoorn and the marvellous nature reserve of 'De Wieden'. We haven't forgotten the inner man or woman though, so a well -filled picnic basket won't go amiss!
4.00 p.m.
On your return you'll find that we've sharpened the arrows ready for you to fire a few shots under professional supervision. In between turns you can relax with a drink or a snack on the patio with its view of the shooting range... after all, a bow long bent at last waxes weak!
5.30 p.m.
After you've recovered from all your efforts, you leave for the Fanfare by water taxi. While you were enjoying the fresh air, the chef at the Fanfare was working hard to let you enjoy as many spare ribs as you can eat... After dinner you stroll back to De Kruumte through the attractive centre.
